You're right! Our life is a record of our journey. It can also be a road map left for future generations. So many people see our paths and we must continually strive to leave "good directions"- as you said, "Write each chapter with patience and care, keeping an eye on eternity."
AliceE has a great post on her blog, "From the Heart," about her Family's Legacy. If you get a chance, check it out. There is a wonderful poem that was written by her great grandmother.

Thanks, Tommie, for visiting my blog and the kind words about my blog. This is a new adventure for me and it is totally in God's hands. I did a card ministry for 6
years. I would wake up with a few words on my mind that sounded like a song. My husband could always tell me what the song was. I used them a lot along with pictures that I found on the internet. I'm believing God will do the same for me with my blog.
